I mainly use Medibang Mobile but CSP is one of the alternatives I use when I want to sit on a desk.
I have no recollection of what got me into Beetlejuice after falling out of my previous main interest, but it's themes relating to death is what made it easy to connect with the franchise.
I initially thought that the animated series came first before the movie so you can imagine the surprise on my face when I discovered about it's origins of the cartoon. I only watched a few episodes as a kid, but then I got back into binging it a decade later. It was like meeting an old friend you haven't seen for so long, and now I can day that this is one of my favorite cartoons of all time. It's campiness is what lured me in to watch all seasons.
Actually, I think the soundtrack of the musical is what got me back into watching the movie. It's just really catchy and fun to sing along to and there's a few songs that I still can't shake out if my head. One of my all time favorites is That Beautiful Sound.
Beetlejuice has captured my heart in all his variants and I probably would've been suffering without a fixation if I hadn't discovered the musical. I mean, look at this guy-
He's certainly caught my attention and is now my muse. 🥀 All my art revolves around him now.
